Any idea to what may be wrong?

Hi, my name is Carley, and I've been suffering from severe shooting pains mostly through my legs, feet, arms, and hands, and more recently in my head and back.
That's just a general summary.
It really all started in the winter of 2008 when I hit my head (towards the top and back) on the frame of a car, and received a concussion in return. Two weeks after that, I hit my head on the frame of a car a second time in the same general area, but maybe a little lower. My perception of my head was rattled and for a couple months, I repeatedly would run into things and hit my head more. My speech was also confusing and I couldn't form sentences all that well, and instead mixed up words and used the wrong words.
After the concussion, I started having multiple headaches and an occasional migraine every day.
Around June 2009, I started having severe twitching in my chest and back, which increased my headaches up to 5 a day. The twitching lasted a few weeks, and then immediately I started having really painful shocks in my hands and arms and legs and feet. They have been affecting me for over a year now. The headaches and migraines never ended.
Around the winter or 2010, I started seeing neon blue flashes, once or twice appearing in the figure of a man and another time in the shape of a cloud. I felt incredibly fearful of the man one.
Around that time, my mom felt it necessary to visit a Neurologist, who I'll leave unnamed.
I described all my symptoms and left there prescribed to 300 mg Neurontin which I was to take twice a day. I didn't like the side effects from them so I didn't take them for a month or two. Eventually the pain got to me enough to where I started taking it again, and have done so even today.
New symptoms that I've developed since then have been :
1.) Shock pains in the sides of my head, sometimes just on one side, other times on both sides. Last at least 5 seconds, but it's incredibly painful.
2.) High anxiety resulting in loss of sleep. (I take ibuprofen PMs now to fall asleep, and they work well.)
3.) Horrible coordination, bad balance
4.) Failing memory, I find I can't remember many things any more, even things that have happened that day. Names and the order of things is lacking as well.

Well, Today I returned to get my prescription refilled and now I'm taking 300 mg Neurontin which I now need to take three times a day.

The pain has gotten worse over time, and if I miss a day of medication, it's unbearable.
I used to be able to go nearly a whole day and be lucky enough to not feel any of the shooting pains, but now there aren't any breaks, and in the past two months it's been almost constant.

If anybody has experienced something similar, or has an answer please let me know!
I may have to go to the NeuroMedical Hospital, but I'd love to hear opinions.
