I would get my 4 amalgum fillings removed in a heartbeat if I KNEW it would help. But its very pricy and I don't want to waste money that I may need for other things down the road if indeed I move from "possible" to "absolutely".

Dear Brian:
There is no proven connection between tooth amalgams and ALS (or any related disorder). Do not waste your money in getting them removed.
In case you have other specific questions, diagnostic or otherwise, you are welcome to seek a second opinion from Dr. Hiroshi Mitsumoto of the Cleveland Clinic. He is one of the world's leading experts on ALS and related disorders. Appointments can be made by calling (800)223-2273, or (216)444-5559 locally.
Good luck!
