Any suggestions

My thumb twitched off and on for about a weak, but now the twitching is gone, and I have had no twitching of any sort for about a weak and half, until yesterday when my middle toe on my right foot twitched for about 15 seconds. I’m a 26 year old, healthy, very physically active male, with no family history of anything. I have been suffering with some stress lately but no more then normal I think. I have no loss of strength, and otherwise things are normal. Any suggestions for what’s causing.
thanks

Hi,

Yes I can understand your anxiety but keep yourself relaxed and hopefully it will resolve soon.
Another possibility can be BFS or benign fasciculation syndrome which is characterized by muscle twitches.
If your symptoms do not resolve in the next few days, then please consult a neurologist.
Take care!

Thanks I'm releived that its not a sign of anything to serious.I think I'm just aliitle annoyed that my thumb stopped twitching and I thought that was all behind me, and then my toe starts off.

Hi,

How are you?
Your symptoms of muscle twitching can be due to excessive stress, anxiety, sleep deprivation, chronic fatigue syndrome which occurs after a severe viral infection, and fibromyalgia.
I would suggest you to take it easy for the next few days and make sure you get adequate amounts of sleep.
Take care!
