Arachnoid cyst ..could these symptoms be due to it

My father is 64 years old. Last year he suddenly started getting a buzzing sound in his ear. the ENT doctor said it was meneres disease and gave some medication. the symptoms went after some time. during the same time he also experienced heaviness in legs and though how much he tries he cannot take the first initial step easily. he also has little bit of shufflign walk and imbalance. the MRi and ct scan showed an arachnoid cyst in posterior fossa but the doctors said that many have cysts and its not an issue. he also felt dinny for some says. doctos told my dad various disease names such as parkinsonism, parkinsons disease, alzheimers, meneres, ataxia, apraxia.

My dad has no issues with hands, only issue is in legs imbalance, heaviness, pain while walking, fatigue some days, headaches, dizziness. he does not have nausea.

do these symptoms lead that they are caused by the arachnoid cyst??  is micro neuroligical surgery an option for his situation? i am worried it will cause permanent damage, dementia .how risky is the surgery at his age?

I forgot to mention, my dad was also diagonized with a protrusion in spine for L5/L6 though nothing was mentioned further as impact of that.
