Hi, Thank you for your question. Arachnoid cyst is a brain cyst that may remain asymptomatic for long years. But if it is large it can cause headache, paralysis, seizures and gait disorders. Therefore, surgical intervention is essential to remove the large cyst and if permanent damage needs to be avoided.  Craniotomy, needle aspiration and cerebral shunts are common surgical treatment that may help.  Please consult a neurologist right away in this regard. Hope this helps.

But i have the archnoid case that is symptomatic. And the size is too small according to the neurologist. He futher added that archnoid is not such dangerous then other cysts, and the surgery is not the final treatment because in maximum case the archnoid regenerats after surgery. He also said to me that in many case it degenerate by itself also.
So plz kindly guide me that know what shall i do? Shall i consult to some other neurologist?
Thanks
