Are seizures common on Lamictal?

I am currently on 150 mg lamictal & 0.5 mg Clanazopan for my bipolar disorder I. Yesterday I had to have an emergency meeting with my specialist because in the morning I was terrified out of bed by some scary vision. Prior to that I had two identical visions of talking to my mom about different subjects, although each time I removed the covers from over my head to confirm it wasn't real. The third time however whenever I was scared by the figure, I couldn't do anything, I was motionless and couldn't even scream!
I cried hysterically after that and forced my husband to leave work and take me to the doctor. The doctor told me it's probably an isolated incident of a "seizure" and advised taking two Clanazopan at night instead of one. He also mentioned that at times seeing repeated visions of family or close relatives is common during the early morning times, however its definitely not early schizophrenia. More recently I also have really vivid dreams towards early morning time. Please explain from a neurological standpoint. Thank you
