Are these symptoms something to be worried about?

I'm a 16 year old female.  For the past two days I have been experiencing slight numbness in my lower left leg and foot and my left arm.  It seems worse when I lay down and last night, I woke and I felt very light headed and slighty dizzy, and my arm and leg were slighty numb - not a pleasant feeling at all.  I was wondering if this is anything to worry about.  My arm is still slightly numb and my head doesn't feel quite right.  I'll also mention that I have double vision which is getting worse and ringing in my ears.  More details of these symptoms can be seen on my other post (http://www.medhelp.org/posts/Neurology/Very-worried---double-vision--fuzzy-head--ringing-ears--twitching/show/1005647?personal_page_id=615109&post_id=post_4685311)

Please help me find an answer to my problem!  I'm back at school next week and want to be healthy and happy.

Hi,
The symptoms may be of migraine. Since you have symptoms on one side on the body, it could be a hemiplegic migraine.  If you experience symptoms on both sides of the body, it is known as Basilar migraine. Please consult a neurologist for a complete neurological examination, investigations (CT scan and MRI of the brain) and diagnosis. Please take adequate rest, a diet rich in fluids, multivitamins and multiminerals. Light exercises like stretching, cycling, swimming may also help. Hope this helps you. Take care and regards!
