Arnold Chiari Malformation??

Last summer I was having really bad headaches and some other problems and i ended up having psuedo tumor cerebri. i had bad papilladema and the acetazolamide did not work so i got a lumboperitoneal shunt in june of 2006. in February of 2007 i started having insanely bad headaches again but my eyes looked okay i mean these headaches were so bad the only i could do was go to bed. i got sick if i didnt i couldnt even turn my head well come to find out the shunt has caused a chiari to form, and i have a cyst in my spinal canal that is 7-9 vertebraes long. what are my options and i was really wanting to go to college in august about 4 hours from home but that is not looking like it's going to happen. i 'm going to see 2 more neurosurgeons but i really need some answers.
