Austistic Young Man has dizziness and Vertigo like symptoms

I am a 25 year old Autistic young man. For past few years I am having periodic dizziness, muscle weakness, dry eyes, what my parents say sounds like vertigo like symptoms. My head feels very funny and I feel like I'm going to pass out and when I stand or walk it feels like I am going to lose my balance and fall down. This only happens for a couple days and then goes away, only to return after maybe a week, sometimes it is only monthly. It just comes and goes. I used to get brain zaps and pain on one side of my head but not so much now. Was put on different psychtropic drugs by family doctor such as ativan, Closepam and some others but they made my condition worse. I also have panic disorder at times. Sometimes during these attacks, bright lights bother me. I just want to feel like I used to before this started happening. My parents took me to a few doctors, also in Philadelphia but no one can tell us what is wrong with me. Have had EEG, MRI but nothing shows up. Would like to know what is wrong with me?

Have you gone to an Audiologist or an ENT for testing?  They can do balance testing.  Also you may benefit from an ABR (auditory brainstem response test).  Sometimes vertigo can be helped with meds sometimes not.  I know, not what you wanted to hear.  I also have a son with Autism and your parents sound like they are trying everything to help.  Bring up going to see and ENT, and not the ones who tend to only do cosmetic procedures.  One of the best places to find an ENT or Audiologist who do those types of tests area at local teaching hospitals.  Good luck.
