Autonomic Failure/Dysautonomia

I'm 30 yrs old and I have dysautonomia.  My BP standing is 52/25 today- and some days even worse. Lying down it is 85/62.  My HR was 25 until I got a pacemaker.  
Last February I went into the hospital as I could not sit, stand, eat, had sweats, pelvic pain & low BP/HR.  I was there for 4 months.
I am back in the hospital and they are planning to send me home this week.  I still can't sit for more than 2 minutes without fainting.  MY BP is still severely low.  

I have been on all the medications you always here about- the steroids, amatine, medodrine, etc.  Done the high salt diet, stockings, etc.

Does anyone else have any other idea?  I'm desperate. How am I to go home when I would be by myself for over 10 hrs.  I pass out when I'm peeing for godsake!

Hi there. Therapy for idiopathic orthostatic hypotension would include stopping of any antihypertensive, increase fluid and salt intake, tight support stockings, abdominal binders,avoiding large meals which exacerbate hypotension, head elevation, slow and gradual standing up. Drugs useful in improving hemodynamics and control orthostatic hypotension are mineralocorticoids, like fludrocortisone, alpha-adrenergic agonist by increasing myocardial contractility and heart rate, resulting in increased cardiac output, vasopressors augments both coronary and cerebral blood flow that occurs during the low flow state associated idiopathic hypotension. Also erythropoitins are used to increase blood pressure through other mechanisms. Take care.
