Autonomic nervouse system causing excessive sweating?

by G-Randolph, Sep 05, 1998 12:00AM

For the past two months my mother,89yrs old, has had a problem with excessive sweating, some dizziness and now nausea.  Yesterday we were told that it is aproblem of the autonomic nervous system and belladonna was prescribed.  At the same time the Carnalith Repositioning Procedure was done.  This left her extremely dizzy, nauseated and somewhat disoriented.  Her blood pressure usually reads about 130/70.  Is a CatScan or MRI the next step?  I am not clear as to the cause of the autonomic nervouse system giving this problem. Is this a disease?  Please advise. Thank you.
