Avonex Causing Spasticity

Aloha Dr. I have been on Avonex for about 7 years now. Recently (the past month), it is causing severe spasticity. I know that it is causing it because I get better throughout the week, then when I inject it, the spasticity starts all over again. Have you heard of this? Could this be a response to my body having developed antibodies to it, and if so, is there a specific test I should request from my Neurologist?
