I've come across information about "electric shock" or "zap" headaches but have read the information only briefly.  Maybe that's a place for you to start your own search.  You might consider seeing a doctor, too.  Good luck.

Try to google the words Electric Shock and Zap Headaches. Enter each one separately though and see what you can come up with. From what I've been reading on this forum that the headaches that have this behavior are very painful so my hope is that you're able to find out more about them. Sometimes you can research something, take a very informative list of questions to the doctor and ask them to investigate your symptoms. If you go to the doctor with a little information in hand, they're more likely to listen to what you have to say because you've tried to find something out on your own. That's my take on doctors and going armed with something as opposed to going without. Don't get frustrated though, you can always come back here and ask more questions if there's anything that you read that you don't completely understand. Someone will respond and try to help you.

Good Luck!
