BETA BLOCKERS AND NEUROLOGICAL SYMPTOMS

Hello,
I had a question about beta blockers. I had been having symptoms of feeling my heart pounding when i first stand up. I had, had this off and on most my life. Probably due to my MVP and TVP. But i also had of and on pounding in my head wen i first stand up and somethings feeling slightly light eaded when i first stand up too. Also in te last year i had developed some sleeping problems, including restless legs and body jerking  when trying to fall asleep, which some nights would last up to 2 hrs, off and on, everytime i'd start to relax my jaw or legs or arms would jerk and awaken me. Well recently i had a first attack of SVT, and was put on Atenlol, 25 mg. a day, and all my symptoms even the neuro ones immediately stopped. Why would te beta blockers affect so many different conditions ?
I mean i'm very happy they stopped, i feel much better, and sleep well every night now. Before i always felt like i had to much adrenalin in my body, so muc so that i had a kinda too much energy type of feeling. Is it possible to have too muc adrenalin in your body all the time. I exercised almost daily and it was like no matter what i did i could not get my energy down. Any help or ideas would be very appreciated.
Thanx

all of my family has genetic early heart failure.  What a difference beta blockers have made for us!  All of us had terrible migraines that stopped completely when we went on beta blockers.  Beta blockers also make us feel calm.  Adrenalin is what kills some people with heart failure, not the heart failing itself.  When your heart is struggling, too much adrenalin is pumped into your body and it is toxic.  Thats why the beta blockers that stop the adrenalin make you feel so much much better.  That's all I can contribute.
