BPT

Wondering, my daughter had benign paroxysmal torticollis at the age of 11 months.  She is now 14 and has a major anxiety problem.  She has an anxiety of of being sick and her throat swelling on her. she is reluctant to believe doctors that she is ok.  It is affecting her life to the point where she can't concentrate at school, or function on a normal basis.  Curious if there are any conections to her BPT?

Hello Dear,
Benign paroxysmal torticollis  is characterized, by recurrent episodes of head tilt, usually alternating from side to side, sometimes accompanied by vomiting, pallor, agitation and ataxia which subside spontaneously within a few hours or days. She might be anxious due to her symptoms ,but as such there is no corelation between BPT and anxiety. You need to give her more love and care and make her understand the problem.
