Bell's Palsy/HFS, mutually exclusive?

I am a 48 yr. old woman who started experiencing sharp, short-lasting pain behind left ear about 5 yrs. ago when wearing a headset, this pain spreads to front of neck above clavicle, I've since experienced other symptoms:  hyperacusis, left eye twitch, inner ear is itchy and painful like permanent earache.  I also have facial tightness over the cheeks predominantly over left side and sinus pain.  This "tightness" has never gone away and I must have spasms because it has elicited a number of comments such as "she has Tourette's" or "must be brain damage" - I've wondered whether I've had a stroke and I'm not aware of it.  About a year ago, I started having neck pain (ball of neck) which is also itchy and burns, the skin is sensitive to the touch and I experience a different type of pain which is sharp and usu. lasts a few minutes.  During the past year I also started experiencing weakness and dull pain in my right forearm/wrist which I thought was carpal tunnel but GP thinks that it's related to neck problem - this weakness interferes with daily activities & cannot sustain any prolonged activity with right arm and I have to switch to left arm - I've also had chronic low back pain for about 8 yrs - this is usu. relieved by lying on my side but occasionally I get the same sharp, short-lived pain that I have in my neck in my lower back next to the spine.  X-rays show that there is much wear and tear in my lower back.  Could these problems all have a common cause? or just coincidence?
