Okay I am not a Dr. but I do Know about Bells-Palsy. It Is believed that B-P is a viris that you could have picked up any where. Family, Birth, Inutero, airborn ext...and carried for years. The truth is, they really don't know enough about it or if they do have a hunch they'er not saying at this time. Now if your HIV test was Negative then you should'nt be worried about Bells Palsy being a sign of HIV. HIV tests these days are rarely wrong, they are pretty accurate. Althought if you think you may have been exposed you should have a follow up test to be sure. I think the wait time is either 6 weeks or 6 months I can't remember. They have found that B-P is usually brought on by stress wether it be mental or Physical. Like durring or after a cold, Flu, or expecially a serious life threatening situation Or by added mental stress of worrie that you might have gotten HIV so when your immune system is over loaded and can't keep the B-p viris at bay. Now I think you sould call your local Death Dept and ask for all the fact about HIV and other STD"s, so you can be truly informed about it. And so you can talk to a councelor about other safe ways to get the attention that you need in an environment where you will be more comfortable in, without the extra worries. I have had B-P I got it at the end of my third pregnancy, in which I had an immune system overload due to a rare blood condition that almost killed me and my son he was born @ 34 weeks and had an abgar of 1 (Health rate)= dead but hagging on. He is a heathy happy 4yrold.
Sorry its late. I must look like I can't spell at all. My spell check is retarded it changes stuff on its own.
