Bilateral muscle contractions

Posted By Karen on January 05, 1999 at 12:30:08:

For the past several months, I have been having sporatic bilateral muscle contractions in my arms. The contractions last anywhere from thiry seconds to two minutes. I can be busy doing something, or relaxing is does not seem to matter. The contractions are painful and unpredictable.            My question is, do you know of anything that would cause this type of contraction? Thank you for any insight you might be able to provide.
