Blocked ears

Do shunts that drain too much csf sometimes cause blockage of ears? I had a Codman shunt installed June 17 and reprogrammed July 12. Following an MRI as part of the diagnosis for a possible TIA, it was programmed again on June 20. Since then, when I get up in the morning my hearing is just a tad worse than normal. By dinnertime I can barely hear my wife unless we are face-to-face and within 3 or 4 feet of each other. I need relief. Thank you. M. Marty
