"Brain Freeze Pain" after shunt placed in the brain

I was diagnosed with hydrocephalus 2 years ago. I recently had surgery to place a codman vp shunt to correct and help the fluid drain.
Since my last adjustment, when I stand up from a laying down position, I get a pain at the area of the valve and shunt are that feels like a "brain freeze" as if you ate Ice cream or something cold to quickly.

The pain lasts for about 30 seconds then goes away, sometimes leaving my head feel foggy and a headache on that side of my head.

Could this be a malfunction, or a blockage????
