Brain Ischemia

Brain Ischemia

My son is almost 7 months old.  We started PT with him around 4 months since he had low muscle tone and was not lifting his head.  He has improved greatly and is lifting his head and hitting the milestones a couple of months late.  We took him to a child neurologist and had an MRI done because a pediatric ophthamologist noticed that he preferred to gaze to his right.  We had the MRI last week and we have a followup visit scheduled for 1.5 weeks from today and I'm going crazy with the very little information given.  He had prenatal brain ischemia - low oxygen to the brain.  I'm looking for more information about what this can mean.  1.5 weeks is surely too long to wait!
