Please use layman language to explain the following:

1.    Mild small vessel ischemic changes; and

2.    Mild ethmoidal and right maxillary sinusitis?

Hi, it simply means mild damage to part of brain due to less blood supply; this condition is commonly seen in elderly, diabetic and hypertensive patients.

Sinuses are small openings or sac in skull which gets inflamed to viral or bacterial infections and cause sinusitis, this can be treated with antibiotics and antihistaminics.
