Hi, im a 25 yo female & I was diagnosed 2 yrs ago with BIH. I have been taking diamox since then & the symptoms have almost gone! However, i had a checkup brain MRI recently & i seen my neurologist today with the results & he informs me that one of the main vessels in my brain has significant narrowing with only 38% blood flow going through it! He has recommended that i have a stent put in place to widen the vessel. From what i can gather, this procedure has only been practiced for a few years! I was just wondering if anyone could enlighten me on the situation, or is there anybody out there who has had the procedure done. I would love to hear from you. Many thanks!
