My father had been to CABG on 21st Sept 2017, and post Ops he got brain stroke (At this time his left side body was active, only right side was paralyzed). He was on ventilator for one week and during this week the neurologist started the treatment. Later on 27th Sept we could see his moving right side of the body and could able to hold his neck strait and able see in all direction. (But he was not able to recognize anyone).
It was good sign and he was improving quick.
However on 3rd Oct morning he was little drowsy(Got respiratory issue) and in the evening doctors had put Ventilator back. He was there in ITU till 23rd Oct.
Also during his ITU stay they had done Tracheostomy for cough suction.
So At this time,
1. He is not awake 100%.
2. The neck holding is not perfect.
3. Feeding is by nose.
4. There is not much movement of the head towards right side and eye ball are keep concentrating on left side.
5. Still cough comes from Tracheostomy and they do suction every now and then.
6. He gets chills sometime.
7. sometimes he recognize few people and make crying face.
So now please someone suggest me what do we do now?.:-(
