  -If a person had a low-grade, slow-growing malignant tumor, of any type that is
  not in a life supporting(vital) area of the brain---What would be an average
  life expectancy if left untreated?

I will answer some of your questions right away and try to get a sample of opinions
on the more speculative questions
1 - The temporal fossa is the area of the skull where the temporal lobe sits.
    A tumor in the temporal fossa therefor emust be in the temporal lobe.
2 - Glioblastoma amd Glioblastoma multiforme are used interchangeably.
3 - A common tumor in the eight nerve area is the acoustic neuroma,
    some subtypes of tumor are more common in the temporal lobe,
     I will repost with a list and an opiniomn on the final question.
