Brain cyst

I had to get an MRI and they said i have a cyst behind my eye, should i worry about this? I'm 22, and when i was 17 i got in a car accident and had to have emergency brain surgery, could this be from that?

Assuming the docs who ordered the scan told you not to worry and they knew about your car wreck, then you do not need to worry.  With that said, people get cysts in their bodies that grow very slowly and never need to be removed.  Other cysts grow rapidly and probably will need to be removed.  It's when the cysts cause symptoms that they must come out.  To avoid possible symptoms and since yours is next to eye structures, you should have followup scans regularly, once a year maybe, to see if it's growing or pushing on anything important.  As for your question if the cyst came from your brain surgery, I do not know the answer.  If the cyst is very close to where your previous operation was, that makes the cyst more important to watch, but as to cause and effect, I just don't know.  I'd establish a real good rapour with the docs who found your cyst, each time you see them, talk it all out thoroughly.  If you have any doubts at all at any point, get a second opinion.
