Hi, one of my relative had a brain stoke 3 days back, He had hematoma in brain in right basil ganglia and right tempora of front piratal lobe, now hematoma is reggresed , however his third and right lateral verticals are comprresed, Midline shift seems toward left with 5.6mms, now at this time he has paralysis in  left side of body, Speech is clear ,

Pls suggest watch should best medication should be given to cure asap

Thanks for writing in.
There is no immediate cure for this condition. The fact that the hematoma is regressing is a good sign but how long is hard to tell. Paralysis of one side of the body is one of the features of stroke. The medical management includes medications to dissolve the clot, to prevent further clot formation and to keep the risk factors like High BP, and high cholesterol under control.
Rehab therapy helps in recovery from loss of physical function. Please make sure that the rehab therapy is under a trained instructor. The physical functions return to normal once the brain edema subsides and hematoma dissolves, but sometimes if the stroke is severe it may take longer.
