Broca's aphasia

Broca's aphasia

He is 22 months old, has white matter decrease and bilateral temporal lobe prominence. He has been talking since he was twelve months old and always knew more words than the other toddlers his age. We started noting the seizures at just six months old. EEG are all normal even the postictal 24 hour one. The MRI shows the abnormalities.
He has generalized epilepsy with tonic, absence, atonic, and myoclonic seizures. ...My question is though he can say many many many {200 plus} single words, he can not say any two words togerther, like "thank-you," or "cup please".....Like I said he is 22 months old..is it too early to diagnose him with brocas aphasia?.....

Also he is on phenobarbital and valproic acid. He has started having an involuntary eye blink { like a repeated squinting really!!} it stops and then later he will do this again.....Could the valproic acid be doing this? I dont see this on the bottle as a side effect, but it has just started in the last month, since the increase of VA!!

Can you please answerr these questions......I know that he has a great neurologist, but I just have so many questions and so many times I have fealt like I have gottan better respoces from med help!!!!  I want to know and understand what his MRI results mean and if he could really have brocas aphasia and if the VA is causing the eye thing!!!!  Thanks so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!    =)   Vicki
