Hi Maggie,
I am not sure, but I think you may be referring to a localised swelling of the skull bone. This may be seen in benign (non-cancer) conditions like "osteoma", and may also follow trauma to that part of the head.
Such osteomas usually do not indicate any underlying brain 'bump' or pathology.
my husband recently had a "bump" removed, or more like chiseled off his skull. it nevered hurted, and people joked about it and called it a horn. it turned out to be a benign bone. he looks fine now, and is handsome as always. i hoped that helped.
How are you feeling now?
Bump is called as swelling.
In what regards are you asking this?
Was the bump you are referring to, in any way, related to trauma to the head? Is there any other way you could describe the bump "inside her brain"?
Trauma to the head can lead to either a concussion or brain hematoma. Is this what you were describing?
If you can, please give additional information.
