Burning, Tingeling, Pinprick Crawling Sensations

Hi.. I am 23 and over the last fewmonths i have been getting random burning sensations on the skin which last a second or two, also i have been getting tingeling sensations and pin ***** sensations on the skin these are all over the body. also the feeling like all the hairs stand up on my legs every now and then this symptom is mostly at night. I also have muscle aches and sometimes random stabbing pains. As bad as this may sound.. these happen over the course of the day maybe 4 or five times a day different symptoms at different times. Weirdly i feel completley normal. no fatique tiredness or any thing else for that matter. just horrible for the 2 or 3 seconds these attacks happen. These started about 1 months after i has had my first ectopic heart beat and i was diagnosed with this problem by my doctor. Any ideas what this could be its quite annoying. sorry also get random muscle twitches thighs and buttocks

I have had 3 blood tests a thiroid tes a ecg and a echocardiogram, would this rule out clots. I can go 5 or 6 days even a week or 2 without these sensations happening.

Hi, Thank you for your question. From the symptoms you describe, it sounds that it could be a circulatory disturbance (due to compression of blood vessels) or a nerve pinched.  This may most likely occurs due to any clots in blood vessels, excessive alcohol use or diabetes, due to injury to a nerve, pressure on spinal or peripheral nerves (neuropathy), vitamin deficiency etc. I would suggest evaluating all the possibilities with the help of a doctor first. Further referral to a neurologist will surely help you in getting a more precise opinion here. Hope this information proves help you.
