Burning Pain in Head for over 4 Months

Burning Pain in Head for over 4 Months

I have had sinus issues most of my life.  In late June I spent an entire day cleaning out a room where 2 cats lived for over 3 years.  I fully expected to have severe head congestion and other sinus issues but that never happened.  What did happen the next day was that my hands and feet started to get a burning sensation.  Soon to follow began the intense burning in my head that mainly begins on the right side and works itself around into my face.  It has not affected my sleep and every morning I wake up with no pain.  However, within an hour of waking up the pain begins again and gets progressively worse as the day goes on.  By the end of the day, I have ice packs all around my head just so I can exist.  Since that day in June, I have been to three general health physicians, my gynocologist and a neurologist.  I have had an MRI and over 10 vials of blood drawn.  All tests including ones for diabetes and MS are normal.  The only thing they can find is a normal B12 and Vitamin D level that are on the low end of normal.  I am currently taking Vitamin D (4,000 units a day), Lyrica (150mg a day), Loestrin 24, Vitamin C, MultiVitamin for women, Iron supplement and Zyrtec. Also, receiving B12 injection on a monthly basis.  Have been given steroids twice and both times it made the pain MUCH worse and one time caused me to have sleeping issues.  Still nothing has even lowered the burning pains in my head except for the ice.  I have learned that the longer I can wait before using ice the better because once I start using ice, the pain is worse I have to leave the ice on until I go to sleep.  It is becoming extremely frustrating to not find any reasonable relief, to still have to work as a manager everyday and try to spend time with my 4 year old child.  I am 40 years old and so do not want this to be the rest of my life.  Is it possible that this could be a horrible sinus infection that has cause my nerves to be damaged?  I can not get anyone yet to go down that path and to give me an antibiotic to see if that is the problem.  It just seems to coincidental that it all started the day after cleaning the cat room.  By the way, I have seen chiropractors and massage therapist too.  I really want this to stop.

What about an Allergist you might have an allergy to something you come in contact with like cleaning supplies I used to work with someone who had a problem like yours it turned out she was allergic to our cleaning supplies.
