Burning Sensation

My wife (age 44) had been suffering from a peculiar problem over the last twenty years.  Very frequently she complains of a burning sensation all over the body.  Initially it start on the feet, legs and palms which spreads all over.  She starts applying ice, roll over on the cold floor, etc to get some relief.  But if she pour water on her body she feels so severely chilled as if drenching somebody with high fever.  She has a very dry skin with very less sweating. I had taken her to many doctors but none could make a proper  diagnosis and solution.  Can any one advice me what I should do ?

There is another autoimmune issue that it may be but I can't remember the name of.
It may be a good idea to go and see a rheumatologist who will check her over and do lots of tests to pinpoint what the issue is.
Wishing you both all the best.
