There are many causes of knee burning sensation. They are- Diabetes, Peripheral artery disease, Peripheral neuropathy, Sciatica, Cold, Peripheral nerve compression, Rheumatoid arthritis, Osteoarthritis and many others. For you it must be cold temperatures causing the problem. Please keep your self as warm as possible if you have to sit for long in an air conditioned environment. Please take some time out for some stretching movements to improve blood circulation in between long hours. At home, exercise regularly. These may improve the symptoms. Please consult a physician and neurologist if the symptoms persist. Hope this helps you. Take care and regards!
