C6 - C7 vertebrae

by Katita32, Feb 02, 2009 01:28PM
One day i woke up with a huge pain in my neck. I was stiff, and i thought i had just pulled a muscle. Then after a week, the pain started to go down my arm. The pain was unbelievable. Has been a week now i had a surgery, with a wonderful doctor here in Vegas. He went trough the front of my neck, replaced the disk, and did a fusion. The pain in my arm is gone, not totally, it hurts a little when i use my arm too much, after all, i was in that pain for almost 2 month.
The nerve needs healing. But i feel so much better, and now i just have to recuperate. I am just telling u all that so you don't let the pain go for as long as i did, and i am hoping my nerve in my arm is not so damaged.
I wish u all luck.
