C8 paresthesia

I currently have a C8 paresthesia. It has been progessing on/off for a few months, it is mainly my medial forearm and little and ring fingers.  It is numbness/tingling that is now almost continuous. I do not have neck pain or do not seem to have loss of motor function or strength.  I am wondering what direction to proceed for evaluation. Thank you.

Hello.

You seem to know the nerve distribution quite well. If you have had any cervical upper thoracic spine issues, they need to be taken care of. There could be a cervical disc protrusion.

Did you have any injuries anywhere in the axilla?

I would suggest you should consult a neurologist and get yourself examined. There is no alternative to a carefully done neurological examination.
