CAT Scan Shows Basi Gangular Calcicification, has being givrn me balance and memory problems.

MIgraine put me in the ER for the 10 + times
CAT scan revealed brain extensive calcifications of
the basal gangular.  What is being effected are my balance and
motor skills, also have a short term memory///,d did tesr to see
if I had B12, hormorene or Pahypothyrodyism ALL NORMAN

wHERE DOES THIS GO FROM HERE????

Calcification of the basal ganglia can be associated with hypothyroidism, Cytomegalovirus, or AIDS or can occur for no apparent reason. Most of the cases are idiopathic. Do you have any other associated condition?
The treatment is mainly focuses around management of symptoms by using medications for anxiety, depression, and neurologic symptoms. Levo dopa has been found to be helpful. Please consult an experienced neurologist about it. Take care!
