Hi there. Cervical myalgia is pain attributed to the muscle, the muscles implicated are trapezius, levator scapulae etc. A trigger point is defined as a hyperirritable area located in a palpable taut band of muscle fibers. there is restricted range of motions and increased sensitivity to stretch of muscle fibers in a taut band . You need to consult a neurologist for the same. After confirmation of diagnosis, you should check up with a pain physician, who is a trained anesthesiologist with knowledge about nerve blocks and management of chronic pain conditions. Take care.
