CK Levels 86,000 diagnosed Rhabdomyolysis

I have recently been hospitalised with excessively high CK Levels. reached 86,000 at peak.
Levels were as follows over a 7 day period 24000, 38000, 86000, 28000, 13000,7000,3000,1000
Had blood test last week (1 week after 1000 was recorded) get results tomorrow.

What happened
Friday - Cycling (20 miles, 3 days before any symptons were felt I has been cycling since Feb, but not so far)
Friday night - lack of sleep due to picking my sons up from a night out at 3am then sleeping until 6a
Saturday - England world cup game. Much alcohol consumed. 8 pints beer, 1 bottle wine
Sunday - fine
Monday - pains in right thigh, elevating leg releaves with ice pack (thought I had pulled a muscle)
Tuesday onwards pain gets progressively worse until I visit doctors on Thursday in agony and have first blood test. Then into hospital.
Friday - Wed - In hospital on drip. Feel fine! leg a bit week

Info - 46, male, 6ft 5, 18stone ( 250 lbs), ex smoker (18 months since quit), drink a bit too much (3 bottles red wine per week, + odd beer maybe 1 or 2, occasional binges on nights out with friends maybe 2 times a year)

Bottom line is I would like some feedback as to what this may be or what can be eliminated. There are lots of nasty thinks such as Muscular dystropy, myositis etc.

Need to know when I can start exercising again as I am trying to lose weight.

Any info or help would be appreciated

BTW further to the following -

All tests in hospital were normal.
ECG - no abnormalities
Blood pressure 123/78
Heartbeart at rest 60bpm
Kidneys - no damage caused
Liver - slight fatty deposits shows mild over use of alcohol
Heart - no problems found.
All other blood tests were normal

no problems swallowing!
No brown or red urine, just normal yellow due to slight dehydration
Not used drugs for over 25 years (even then only joints)
No medications - Rarely have had in the past

Current under stress (out of work for 18 months after being senior exec for 15 years) The out of work bit is more stressful than the working bit :)

My wife is currently experiencing the same thing.  Ironically after doing a spin class.  She has been in the hospital for a week.  Can I ask what was the outcome?  Was there a treatment that helped you?
