CONSTANT WORRIER NEEDING SOME PIECE OF MIND

by AOL, Apr 13, 2007 12:00AM
I was wondering if I could ask for some piece of mind on some symptoms that I am having? I tend to take something small and turn it into the worse possible thing.  It all started about 6 months ago after returning from a trip, I started feeling a little dizzy headed not to where the room was spinning just the feeling.  Sometimes I have a little upset stomach with it, however I don't get headaches but every once in a while and they are not bad at all.  ALso my nose stays stopped up a good bit at least one side anyway and my ears pop everytime that i swallow like I'm riding through the mountains.  I went to the doctor and at the time i had an ear infection in both ears and a sinus infection, he put me on an antibotic (antibiotic),but it did not help.  I went back an was put on them again but they did not help.  He sometimes gives me a tridex shot and for a few days i will fill better then it comes right back.  For the past couple months I will feel good for a week or so then bad for a week, with these feelings.  Is this a brain turmor or someting bad my doctor says that its not cause I have no bad headaches.  I also when to the eye doctor about 3 months ago she said that everything looked good my eyes are good.  thanks for any help that you can give.

Sounds like an inner ear infection to me, I have had that before, and the sudden onset of dizziness can be very worrying, It is likely to affect the stomach too, in the same way as seasickness does. In fact when I had an infection it was like being sea sick or drunk all the time and I was falling over.

Unfortunately the effects can sometimes last a lot longer than the infection, up to a year in some cases. I can't remember what medication I used, but it was an over the counter one, a travel sickness remedy.
