CREST, RSD, Sjogren

My 38  yr. old daughter was diagnoised with RSD, CREST and Sjogren about 2 years ago. About 6 months ago her pain (R. arm, Hand and headaches) became worse and her ANA went sky high. Her M.D. admitted her to the hospital and filtered her blood 4 times over a 10 day period. She has been on large doses of steriods and is getting chemo IV once a month. She has gained about 50 lbs in the last 6 months (from a size 2 to a 10) and does not appear to be getting any better. The doctor has not repeated her ANA since he filtered her blood. I am very concerned about her treatment, can you give me some advice or do you know if this is the type of treatment she should be getting.
Thank you for any help,
Concerned Mom
