A single punctate white matter focus of increased signal intensity is seen on the T2 FLAIR sequence within the mid left hemisphere at the level of the lateral ventricles. This is a nonspecific finding and no other white matter lesions are identified.
Can anyone tell me what all this means? I was being sent for all these test to confirm a diagnosis of MS (having an EMG on the 1st). I have severe leg pain which tends to be worse in the R but sometimes both legs are equal in the pain. The pain feels deep and like my legs are just going to explode (the only way I can describe it). I sometimes get crawling sensation on my legs and arms at night. I only average about 4 hours of sleep due to pain per night. By afternoon time I have to use a cane to get around. I get dizzy and fall or loose my balance. I trip or stumble all the time.
