CSF protein levels in GBS

7 years ago I was diagnosed with " a very suspicious" bout of GBS. Onset pain was "like frost bite". My csf protiens were only 42 with 11 white blood cells and glucose of 50. the EMG had F latency and was consistant with gbs dispite the protein level. I was treated with PE and it knocked almost full paralysis out in just 5 treatments. I walked out of the hospital with out a cain.

5 years ago I had onset pain " like frost bite" also I started eating bananas because I thought the muscle cramps meant I was in need of potassium. This time not as bad I only had an ataxic gait. My csf protiens were 49 with 2 white blood cells, glucose 52. no EMG performed. The MRI revealed a lesion "consistant with the demyelination process seen in MS and TM" but it did not contrast. further tests reveal that MS is "not a possibility at this point". IT went back and forth in intensity for 6 months and then spontainiously remissed. btw my reflexes at this point are 0 to 1+ down below and 1+ in upper. babinski is equivelent

this year after a 5 year remission a subacute bout happened again. ataxic gait, this time my lower reflexes are gone and my upper are trace to absent. but still no elevated csf proteins. the doctor heres my history but the test scores were not available so its just by my word alone and still says that anxiety may be a factor but Ill give her the benefit of the doubt and treat her anyway. so another 5 treatments knock this out but I am still suffering with the old back and forth.

believe it or not I have not been dianosed with anything as obvious as it is.
my question is
what is the normal range of csf proteins.?
can CIDP exist without them elevated?
