Calcium Deposit

Calcium Deposit

I've recently had a Head CT after an injury. The CT showed a clacium deposit, not related to the injury. The ER doc said it's probobly nothing but I should get it checked out.

How worried should I be???

Hello.

Calcium deposits can be normal. There are certain parts of brain where calcium can get deposited with age. You need not worry about them. Especially when you do not have any symptoms.

Do you have any other symptoms ? How is your blood pressure ?

Hello.

It is nice to know that the calcium deposits are asymptomatic. If you happen to meet any Neurologist in future, just get the MRI reviewed by him, too. Just to be absolutely sure.
Hope you have recovered from the injury.
