Can subdural heamtoma start again 10 days after surgery?

My mother had emergency surgery for a subdural hematoma which they said happened as a result of a fall 4 to 6 weeks earlier.  She is doing very well and went home from the hospital 3 days after the surgery.  Last night she was very tired and today she is very tired as well.  I know before she had te surgery, she was complaining of being very tired as well.  I am just concerned that this could mean that there is bleeding again.  The surgeon told us before the surgery that 1 out of 10 cases they will have to redo the surgery.  I did not ask him whether this meant having to do it right away or how long after the surgery this could happen.  Any information would be appreciated.  Thank you.

The answer is yes, but it is unlikely.

The important thing is not to simply "sit" but to keep in close contact with her physician and follow his/her advice as to whether or not she should return for another MRI.

If in doubt, do not hesitate. Head for the ER. Immediately.

I want to thank you for your response.  My mother has improved over time and the neurosurgeon released any restrictions, allowing her to do whatever she feels comfortable doing.  About 2 weeks ago, she started getting headaches off and on and called the doctor's office and was told not to worry.  When they continued, she called again and the doctor ordered another CT scan which she had done on Tuesday.  She said the headaches are not bad and not constant, but she never used to get headaches.  At the CT center, they did the CT and compared it to the one she had before surgery.  A doctor there reviewed it and said the area was smaller than on the previous CT, (I would hope so!).
She is still waiting to hear from her surgeon and was quite nervous about it and one of the nurses at the office read her the report stating that there is a 17 mm area on the CT which is smaller than before.  So, I am wondering, is this residual from the original hematoma?  Are headaches normal after this type of procedure?  Any questions we should be asking the doctor?  I am a little frustrated with the fact that the neurosurgeon has not called her following this recent CT.
