Can symptoms of depression continue when not depressed?

Posted By S.C. on October 11, 1998 at 18:36:00:

I read with interest a posting here (10/17/98) regarding the neurological symptoms of depression. I have experienced many of those symptoms and also, sometimes, depression. In general, my tingling, numbness, fatigue, etc. is pretty constant, with brief periods of amelioration. I was surprised to see how many things are attributable to depression. I am just wondering whether it is common, or possible, for neurological signs of depression to be present when the person is not depressed and has not been depressed for some time? Thank you.
