Can xanax withdrawal be the problem?

by psgray, Oct 10, 2004 12:00AM
I have been off xanax for almost a month.  About a week after I quit, my hand starting tingling & my pinkie & ring finger went numb.  My pinching ability has decreased in this hand.  Can this be related to the xanax withdrawal?  Also, will this improve?

I am not aware of this being a withdrawal sign from Xanax. I would recommend you discuss this with your doctor so that it may be evaluated more formally. Good luck.
