Hello.

Hope you are better as you read this.

If I recall correctly, your capillary telangiectasia is on the left side of the pons. Do you still have the 6th nerve paralyzed ?

There are not many clear references. But a few studies, and our clinical experience suggest about 5% chances of a rebleed.

The 6th nerve nucleus lies in proximity to the area of the malformation. There are chances that the bleeding has affected it.

Please get a repeat MRA (angiogram) and also have an ophthalmologist check your optic disc, for any signs of a raised intracranial pressure.

Hope this helps.

Regards

THAT IS CORRECT IS WAS ON THE LEFT. WHAT TIME FRAME FOR FOLLOWUP. I HAVE AN APPOINTMENT IN 31/2 WKS WITH NEURO OPTOMOLOGIST. 6TH NERVE STILL PARALIZED. STARTED DEC. 20TH,2007 I DIDN'T HAVE A MRA DONE. JUST MRI BRAIN WITH AND WITHOUT. BLOOD SHOW ON UNENHANCED, WHICH WAS NORMAL 14 YRS AGO. JUST SHOWED UP ON GRADIENT ECHO WHEN FOUND I BELIEVE

THANK YOU
