Catscan and Neuro exam abnormal for my 14yr old please read

My 14yr old daughter had swollen node on right mastoid bone 2 months ago. Pedi said it was bc of dandruff(didnt have any)and gave her antibiotics.Node was still swollen. Was sent to ENT to eval ear ringing and muffle sound w/dizziness and lose of bal and painful lump on scalp.Ended up seeing a neurosurgeon, performed exam found her feelings on right side were diff then left side. Her right eye is slightly droopy and had prob w/bal test.catscan showed mass with calcification(not sure where in head)but rest of scan looked ok he said.now set up mri to look for soft tiss mass.she also has numbness in her lips when she lays on that part of her head, feeling returns w/in 10min after she sits up.he said nothing as to what it could be until mri w/I.V is done.yesterday she said at school she looked up and her eyes seem to go side to side for awhile but stopped when she looked down.I have my own possibilities, all im looking for are your feeling on it with previous cases you may have had in the past.It took me two weeks to get through here to post a question.I know U cant DX her w/out seeing/looking at films, just some possibilities.
Thanks in advance for responding,
Dee

The major concern would be for some kind of tumor. There are many different types of tumors which can calcify, and the MRI will help to differentiate these possibilities. Unfortunately without knowing the location and reviewing the scan it is difficult to speculate. Good luck.
