Cavernous Angioma in Cerebellum

by CuriousinColorado107, Oct 05, 2009 01:53PM
Back in March of 2004 I had an MRI done and was given the following results:

There is a small serpiginous enhancing lesion in the left cerebellum most consisten with either venous anioma or capillary telangiectasia.  Just adjacent to this lesion is a small focus of old blood products in the inferior left cerebellum suspicous for cavernous angioma or perhaps a secondary portion of the venous angioma.

This was a follow up for the first MRI which the neurologist wrote:
There is a heterogenous focus of abnormal signal with old blood products within it alon the inferor left cerebellum most consistent with a cavernous angioma.  There is a second lesion with old blood products along the left superor cerebellum which is associated with what appears to be a prominent vessel.

I was given the results and told that I might have a seizure sometime, but that it wasn't a tumor and I was most likely born with it.   Five years later, I have been getting dizzy and have had trouble focusing and passed out one morning.  Could this be associated with this?
