Cavernous Angioma recently diagnosed

by naniojose, Sep 12, 2008 02:25PM
My 14 years old son was diagnosed with a cavernous angioma in the left temporal lobe.  It was discovered because he lost sensations and mobility in his right lower leg.  The doctor says it measures only 6 mm and it is so small it would be better to leave it alone and wait to se what happens.  This is the part that scares me because I've read in many places in the web including the Angioma Allience that symptoms usually apear afte 20 not at my son's age.  His MRI showed images consistent with previous small hemorrages.  Should I get a second opinion?
